Talking to Children About Difficult Topics

It can be challenging talking to children about difficult topics such as violence and terrorism.  You don't want to alarm them but it is important that they have some information.  It is better that they get the information from parents than unreliable sources.  For practical tips on talking to children about difficult subjects, visit the Children Now web site.

Emergency Updates

During an emergency situation, the Azusa Unified School District will post updates on this web page.

The Azusa Unified School District has an anonymous hotline at the District Office which is monitored during regular work hours. The hotline was set up to give AUSD students an avenue to report safety issues, activities and incidents on campus without fear of retribution or embarrassment. Parents and community members may also call to report incidents on the hotline. The number is 626-331-2302.
